Intel prepares to introduce i9 processors for notebooks

The world-famous manufacturer of microprocessors Intel is preparing to release a new generation of chips for laptops and ultrabooks. This became known due to an accidental leak after the release of the documentation for the future version of the FinalWire AIDA64 diagnostic application. The public became known not only the names of future silicon giant processors, but also some of their specifications.

We already told you about Intel's new processors, which are integrated in the Core i9 line . These high-end chips achieve a price of $ 2,000 and are capable of providing almost any computer with the processing power. Of course, provided that you can afford such an expensive purchase. As it turned out, the i9 family expects to replenish in the near future in the form of several mobile processors, which will be installed in laptops and similar devices.

According to the documentation for the AIDA64 application, the mobile line of i9 processors will include high-performance six-core chips based on the Coffee Lake architecture. Intel is finishing work on the line of processors Core i9-8000 codenamed Coffee Lake-H, which will provide 12-stream computing and 12 megabytes of L3-cache memory. The first processor in the lineup will be the Core i9-8950HK model (this name was made known by the inattentive staff of FinalWire).

This processor will be installed in laptops with a diagonal of monitor from 17 inches and above, and another important factor is the presence in the laptop of one or two high-performance graphics cards. The processor, apparently, will also require a serious cooling system, but so far we do not know anything about it. It remains only to wait for official announcements or comments from the processor manufacturer. And we must assume that they will not be long in coming. Especially in light of this leak.
