Now in Raspberry Pi took note of past defects, eliminated them, and after that they presented their new development at a price of 99 dollars.

Having stuffed his hand, the engineers of the company developed, finally, a new laptop Pi-Top, which differs from its predecessors by a very simple assembly and elementary access to the inside of the device. Pi-Top is equipped with a full keyboard and touchpad, a 14-inch display, three USB ports and an Ethernet port. To bring it to working condition, it takes only six simple steps, whereas the previous models of Raspberry laptops were going for 23.



The modules of electronic filling and cooling system are located under the keyboard, which very simply moves downwards, so that the user can connect something on his own and literally "on the fly". Pi-Top does not have bolts, instead magnets are used, which will be very useful if the owner decides to put into practice the bundled "inventor's kit" consisting of an additional board, LEDs, a microphone and motion sensors.

This laptop is useful for a beginner programmer or child. The set of inventors allows you to learn using the Pi-Top Coder application, which includes three modes. Pi-Top operates on its own OS Pi-TopOS Polaris, which includes Google Chromium, LibraOffice and Minecraft Pi Edition.

By its power, it is unlikely to compete with laptops under Windows, but it is easy to adjust for itself, equip with additional plug-ins, including external ones, thus expanding its functionality and continue training. The price for the basic model Pi-Top is $ 285, the top configuration will cost a bit more, 320 dollars.
